Welcome to 2017 with GVHRC,
The Sportsman show was well attended and our club was represented well. Thanks to those who brought their dogs to the booth and for the demonstrations. Folks who did the demonstrations got a water bottle with a picture of their breed of dog and the handlers name on it.
We held our Year End Banquet and Awards Ceremony on February 25th at the Red Lion. We had a good turn out from members and friends alike, the food was good and awards were presented. A first time member from last year took the handler of the year award. Others received an engraved treat jar with the club logo, dogs name and handler. We took a moment of remembrance for our 2 club members we lost this past year, Ed Chaney and Hank Anderson. We had both silent and oral auctions for some great stuff and appointed our new officers and board members for 2012. That information is now update here on the website also.
The Board Meeting is March 7th and our 1st event is March 18th. See the calendar for details. Our per dog “bird fee” is $20.00 this year.
